Apprenticeship Programme
Spirit are fully committed to ensuring that young people have a positive experience of working life right from the start. With this in mind we have developed a career pathway that enables a young person to go right from their first day in a pub to managing that pub and beyond.
We believe in giving people the opportunity to absorb new ways of working, allow them to try them out and so give them the confidence to drive their own level of achievement. For some it has given them the opportunity to gain a qualification that previously had not been available to them.
Our Apprenticeship Programme follows the successful launch of ‘ePlayers’, a new Team induction training programme. This combines new ways of learning, enhancing the latest technology available to us and blending all this with on-the-job coaching.
We enable all our team players to achieve at minimum a Level 2 qualification, whilst working with us and also gaining additional skills which will help them to be more efficient, effective and a great team player, not only for the business but also for the wider community.
Spirit have always valued the opportunity for our Pub Team Players to work towards qualifications whilst at work. Our Apprenticeship programme allows our pub team members to gain a qualification in either Food & Beverage, Food Processing or Customer Service (all at Level 2) depending on job role and career aspirations.
